A 54 year old obese male with diabetes, hypertension and hyperlipidemia now presents with a liver mass and is diagnosed with hepatocellular carcinoma. He likely has NASH cirrhosis. He is anemic and hypokalemic requiring hospitalization. I referred him to the ER. I spent more than 60 mins with the patient, reviewing his medical records, counseling him, answered several questions and gave detailed explanations.
